# Free and Premium

> What the free plan includes, what Premium adds, and how to activate Premium on your servers.

AuthenticateMe is free to use, and the free plan already covers most servers well. Premium is for communities that want an ad-free verification flow, stronger browser checks, and faster support.

> Premium is sold on [Patreon](https://www.patreon.com/authenticateme/membership) in tiers. Higher tiers cover more servers at once. Block Browser Tampering, Suspect Score, and enhanced detection need **Tier 3 or higher**, and the dashboard shows them as locked on lower tiers. Check the Patreon page for current tiers and prices.

### What "enhanced" means

On Tier 3 and above, some checks run deeper detection on the verification page, which makes them much harder to get around. These are Block Anti-Detect Browsers, Block Developer Tools, Block Incognito Mode, Block Privacy Focused Settings, Block Virtual Machine, and the Fingerprint method of Block Alternative Account.

## Activate Premium

**1. Subscribe on Patreon**

Join a tier on [Patreon](https://www.patreon.com/authenticateme/membership).

**2. Connect Discord to Patreon**

In Patreon, connect the Discord account you use to manage your server. AuthenticateMe reads your subscription through that link, and new subscriptions can take a few minutes to show up. **3. Run /premium in your server**

The server has to be set up first. Run `/premium` and the Premium wizard shows your tier, its renewal date, and how many server slots you've used.

**4. Click Activate Here**

Press **Activate Here** to use a free slot on this server. Premium turns on right away and a log goes to the server's general logs.

## Manage your Premium servers

Each tier comes with a number of server slots. Run `/premium` in any server to manage them.

* **Move Premium** to the server you're in by picking another server from the menu and pressing **Move Premium Here**. It leaves the old server instantly.
* **Remove Premium** from a server to free its slot.
* **Refresh** to re-read your subscription from Patreon, for example right after you upgrade.

If your tier now covers fewer servers than you use, Premium is removed from the servers you added most recently.

## Billing questions

* **Can I cancel at any time?** Yes. Cancel on Patreon with no extra fees. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
* **Which plan should I pick?** Small and mid-size communities usually do fine on the free plan. Busy servers, or servers that get raided often, benefit most from the ad-free flow and the stronger browser checks.
* **Something isn't working?** Open a ticket in the [Support Server](https://discord.gg/KdcYHcQ). Premium tickets are handled first.
