Every verification link belongs to one Discord account. This error means you signed in on the verification page with a different account from the one that joined the server. It usually happens when you’re logged in to one account in the Discord app and another one in your browser.

Fix it

Get a new link

Click Verify in the server’s verification channel, or open the DM AuthenticateMe sent you.

Check the account Discord shows

When Discord asks you to authorize AuthenticateMe, look at the account at the top of the screen. If it’s the wrong one, click Not you? and sign in with the account that joined the server.

Authorize and wait for the result

Click Authorize and keep the page open until it shows the result.
