Server owners and staff

1

Run a health check

Most problems, like roles not being given or messages not posting, come down to a missing permission or a role in the wrong place. Run /health or open the Health page first.
2

Check the status page

If verification seems down for everyone, check status.authenticateme.xyz.
3

Open a ticket

Join the Support Server and open a ticket. Include your server ID, what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and a screenshot if you can. Premium servers are handled first.

Members

If you’re trying to get into a server, start with How to verify and Verification errors. Decisions about who gets into a server belong to that server’s staff, so contact them first if a check keeps blocking you. Many servers have a Help button on their verification message for exactly that. AuthenticateMe can’t verify you in someone else’s server or reset your attempts there.

Common questions

Make sure AuthenticateMe’s role is above your Verified and Unverified roles in Server Settings → Roles and that it has Manage Roles. If you deleted and recreated a role, pick the new one on the Settings page.
You need access to at least one dashboard page, which by default means Manage Server. Sign out and back in if your roles changed recently.
Run /embeds embed:Verification Message to post it again.
Open a private ticket in the Support Server. See Data Deletion.
